Two mountaineers found dead on Mount Damavand

TEHRAN – Two Iranian mountaineers, Sara Khooshehchin and Rahman Fesahat, died due to frostbite while descending Mount Damavand.

They were part of a four-member climbing team that had started their ascent from the northern slope on Wednesday.

Rescue operations are currently underway to recover the bodies and provide care for the surviving climbers.
